Louise Dooley

Louise E. Dooley nee Bruhnke, 86, longtime resident of Northbrook, passed away September 24, 2017. Loving wife for 67 years of James Thomas Dooley; loving mother of James M. (Martha) Dooley, Christine Dooley (Robert) Resnick, Mark (Lynn) Dooley; cherished grandmother of James W. Dooley, Caraline Resnick, Jack Resnick, Andrew, Liam, and Aidan Dooley; dear sister of the late F. Bernadine (Henry) Zommer; fond sister-in-law of Lucille (late Frank) Dooley; aunt of Tami Zommer and many nieces and nephews. Louise was the long time manager of Minnesota Fabrics/Hancock Fabrics in Northbrook. Louise and her husband loved to travel to Maui, Hawaii and spent many vacations there starting with their 25th Anniversary and every other year after. Visitation Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview (just south of Lake Ave. on west side). Visitation will also be held Friday, September 29 from 10 am until time of the mass 10:30 am at St. Norbert Church, 1809 Walters Ave., Northbrook. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
