I 'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Marcia was a VITA tutor for Oakton at the Lincolnwood Library when I taught there many years ago. She began tutoring for our program in 1997 and gave over 800 hours of dedicated service as a volunteer tutor. Her students loved her warm smile, genuine caring, and excellent help in learning to read English. She will be greatly missed by those of us who had the privilege of knowing her and working with her in the Saturday morning library class. May your good memories of Marcia's life and legacy give you peace.

Dear Children and Grandchildren of Marcia:
Deepest sympathy upon your loss.
It was a great priviledge and honor to know Marcia. She worked with me at the Lincolnwood library in the English reading class. Her students loved her as a teacher and a person.
She took such personal interest in each of them.
She had many years of experience teaching before I became the instructor in 2002. Marcia gave me so much support throughout the years of our association that words will not do her justice. She was a fine teacher and lady. She was missed when she became ill and couldn't continue teaching, and there will not be a class when I do not think of her as I pass the table at which she gave so much to our wonderful ESL students. I will remember her as a grand lady, also, and she will continue to be a great model of life for me.

To the Family,
I was a Vita volunteer with your mother and enjoyed working with her. Her giving spirit helped many and she will be both missed and remembered.
