Dear Danny, Steve, Deena and Family,
Our parents met in Munich After the war and they were very close all these years. I spent time with both of them during their visits to Israel and our visits to Chicago. Your father hosted Itzhak and I when we first came to the States. I remember our lovely vacation with Buma, Slavs and Deena in Switzerland.
All those years we were in touch and I remember how thrilled I was when your parents came to my daughters Bat Mitzvah in California.
Our condolences to you, you lost your beloved dad and we lost a dear friend.

So many childhood memories with the Fintels but especially with Mark who would stay at my parents home every so often, take his power nap after lunch and then have a lengthy conversation with me (10-15 year old) about life, about Earthquake Resistant structures, politics and so on. I loved to be treated like an adult. Ill remember you Buma with great fondness.

A friend, dating back to 1946 as member of the Jewish Students Union of the LMU and TH in Munich, Germany. A beloved leader of our group of survivors, struggling to rise from the ashes, get an education and build a family and future.
There are very few of us left alive, I among them. God bless his soul.
To the family: Please accept our condolences and be consoled by the legacy he left for you and us, his friends. He is engraved in our memory and will not be forgotten.
