Meryl Adams

Meryl Adams of Hinsdale, Il. passed peacefully on June 8, 2013. She was mother of five children, Harry C. Crawford Jr. (Patricia K.) of Solon, OH., Mark F. Crawford of Hinsdale, Il. Peter D. Crawford of Downers Grove Il,Christopher M. Crawford of Chicago, Il. and Jaime A. Adams of Hinsdale, Il. She was Mimi to ten Grandchildren and Great Mimi to six Great Grandchildren. Her Children, Grandchildren, Great Grand Children and Labrador's were the center of her life. She had an aggressive and dynamic business acumen at a time in history when women were not expected be in business let alone starting and running a successful business. She began her quest in Real Estate in 1964 and ten years later she became one of the Co-founders of the Adams & Myers Real Estate Agency in Hinsdale. After 49 years in Real Estate in Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Burr Ridge and the surrounding suburbs, she truly became the Matriarch of Real Estate in the southwestern suburban area.
