April 25, 2011
Oh dad... my heart aches with how much I miss you. As you know, we are all coping - some days easier than others. I can now talk about my memories without crying all the time. Wonderful memories with lots of laughter! Best father ever and I did listen to you!

I will always cherish the times that I spent with Mike. They are some of my fondest memories. St. James grammar school. Proviso East Baseball, and Monday Night Football at Mike and Fran's home on 5th ave. Our lives went in different directions and we raised our families but I thought of Mike often. We will always miss him but we will smile when we think of him.

I knew Mike as a young, vibrant man who just met his beautiful Fran. They made a wonderful life together and created the generations who loved him in life and will surely honor his memory. Thalia Poulos, Fallbrook, CA

Warm Summer Sun
Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.
