The Sposatos with my dad and Grandpa at my Aunts wedding in 1950

Laura Raimondi-Boffa

January 14, 2010

Perhaps you might appreciate this if we are related and I am sorry to add this in, if we are not. I have this picture, which may be of Michael Sposato (right) with my grandfather, Vito Orazio Raimondi, father, Anthony (Junior) Raimondi, and Michael's sister, Sadie, in about 1950. This would have been at my aunt's Margaret (Margie) Raimondi's wedding. You see, my grandmother, Leona Sposato, had a brother, Nick, married to a Rose with children Sadie, Bob and Michael.

My deepest condolences in all cases,
Laura Raimondi-Boffa

To the Sposato Family -
Although we are not related by blood we consider you all FAMILY!

When I asked some of my family what they thought of when we mentioned Grandpa Mike here is what they said:

Sammy said "Food"!
My husband Michael said, sharing stories with Carmie about the old neighborhood and how they knew so many of the same people, the story of how Mike showed up at church with "bread crumbs" on his shirt, and of course when we all played cards and Mike kept asking my Mike if he had the "Jack of Hearts" over and over again.
To me he was like a second father, he made me feel so "special", he made me laugh a lot, and I always felt his love!

We thank the Lord that we had the honor of knowing Mike and enjoying many times with him.

Peace and Love from God Above,
Michael, Mary, & Sammy Serwa
