I sat next to Nikki in summer school when we were 13 and we were friends ever since. Called her from Vegas in 2023 while hanging out with our mutual galpal Tracey. We all sat together in Chicago Studies summer school with another friend Candise. I guess Tracey and I called Nikki from Vegas the summer before she died. I remember it was hot out and we talked for a long time. Nikki and I traveled to The Grateful Dead´s 50th anniversary show at Soldier´s Field. It was completely sold out but a crowd tore down the fence into the stadium and we all ran in thinking we´d see the show for free. Of course that didn´t happen, but it was still such a fun summer adventure. We would see each other whenever I was in Chicago. Now that I think about it, we were always hanging out in the summer. Hard to believe she´s gone. Not Forgotten.

Nik, I am so sorry we weren't there to say goodbye, I just found out today. 14 years ago I asked you to be my sons Godmother, and it was one of the best choices I ever made. You will forever be amazing to him, Auntie Godmother, the one who did all the fun things. Thank you for being a friend, and family to my son. You leave behind a hole that can never be filled. We love you so much, always will. Thank you for the past 32 years of memories...I will keep the stories alive for Logan!

Oh, Nik. Damn, I am going to miss you. So many memories. BBQs at your AH condo, EP Fest, concerts, sharing cat pics, endless laughter. Thank you for visiting me when you came to BTMG & for your encouragement in my stroke recovery. I appreciated it all. My condolences to the family, including the kitties of course. Love, Emily Schein.

Nicole was like a big sister she was family to us. We have known Nicole over 30 years. Some special memories I have is her at my wedding, getting our nails done. Dinner at Mcgraths, one summer we got food, went to the water park with my brother and had a fun day at the waterpark going swimming and going down the water slides, and trips to Woodhaven. When Nicole came to visit us in Oregon and coast trips. I am deeply saddened by her passing and will miss her greatly. Hopefully we can cherish the memories we have of her and she will be a beautiful guardian angel flying high watching over everyone. I send my deepest sincere condolences, not only for my family but to her friends and family during this difficult time. May you find peace and comfort in this difficult time. God bless.
