Peter Coules, age 84, Army veteran WW II. Beloved husband of Sandra, nee Fanuris; devoted father of Renee (Edward) Steffan, Michele (Jim) Otte, Tricia (Jim) Gikas and Peter (Denise); dear grandfather of Andrea, Eddie Maribeth, Lindsey, Brian, Alex, Kara, Lanie and Maddie; fond brother of Bertha (the late John) Danos,Harry (Kay),Tom (Rosemary) and the late Helen (the late Clayton) Nassos; fond uncle of many. Member of A.H.E.P.A. and Masonic Lodge #1084. Visitation Tuesday 3 to 9 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn, IL.Trisagion Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Wednesday with a visitation at 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 10301 S. I have always remembered my interactions with Pete because whether it was playing softball, at a golf outing, or a chance meeting, he was smiling, gracious, and attentive. He was one of a select few whose opinion actually meant something to me. A great man leaves an imprint on those he meets in our brief time here; Pete Coules was a great man.

Sandy, Renee, Michelle, Trisha, Peter, all the spouses and all the grandkids - Our hearts are broken with the loss of such a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather, neighbor, friend and all the amazing things that Pete stood for. I just looked at the photo gallery and can hardly type this note to you. The Doody family and Coules family were one and all the same.
