Tricia,

Please accept my sincerest condolences on your family's loss. I pray that you and your family will find strength and peace through not only your own faith, but through the faith of your father, as well.

I have always remembered my interactions with Pete because whether it was playing softball, at a golf outing, or a chance meeting, he was smiling, gracious, and attentive. He was one of a select few whose opinion actually meant something to me. A great man leaves an imprint on those he meets in our brief time here; Pete Coules was a great man.

Dear Aunt Sandy,

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your children. I know how hard this must be on you since I want you to know that over the years I have watched the two of you many times and thought "I wish I was in a relationship like that one." At every point in your life you always looked like you were deeply in love and having a great time sharing a life through thick or thin.

I am not sure I can make it tomorrow but I want you to know that I am there in spirit if not physically,

Sandy, Renee, Michelle, Trisha, Peter, all the spouses and all the grandkids - Our hearts are broken with the loss of such a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather, neighbor, friend and all the amazing things that Pete stood for. I just looked at the photo gallery and can hardly type this note to you. The Doody family and Coules family were one and all the same. God blessed us when Don and Marge and Pete and Sandy became neighbors. We love you and words cannot express how sad we are. The Degitis Family * Our fun memories will never be forgotten!
