Just thought of him today and googled his name to discover that had died. Met him in Medjugorje and he was very helpful to me in confession. A kind hearted man, a real shepherd. Rest in Peace.

Fr. Philip, I remember you hearing my confessions in Medjugorje after my release from San Quentin prison in 2004. You were always kind with a word of encouragement. I remember walking through the vineyards with you, picking grapes and talking about life. You became like a father to me. Your son- Oliver Tadic Medjugorje

Fr. Philip was my teacher, confessor and dear friend. I knew him from my trips to Medjugorje, as did many others. For a time, I served as his secretary during the Bosnian War, a time when there were few English speaking pilgrims in Medjugorje to whom he ministered. A friend once noted that her favorite trait of Fr. Philip's was his tendency to break himself up during his sermons and talks. Everyone fortunate enough to hear him preach and teach was deeply touched by his wisdom, generosity and warmth and was the better for it. Rest in peace, Fr. Philip. I remember your telling me that when you went to Heaven, you'd ask a lot of questions about what happened in Jerusalem and that you'd watch a lot of videos in the Big Library. Hvalan Isusu i Mariji.

I am so sad to know only today that
Fr. Philip Pavich has passed on last July 29. He was my confessor in Medugorje
and he was a gifted good priest who just reads my soul while I was in the confessional.I met him in NYC then and
He even was the one who imparted a special blessings on my 2 son's sacramentals before they got deployed
in Iraq.He continued to gave spiritual
counseling whenever I felt down and needed a big spiritual boost.Thank You
Fr.Philip for never failing to guide me
back to Jesus and for praying for my family especially my children's soul.
Though,it is late,I would like to extend to his bereaved dear family my heartfelt sympathy for Fr.Philip's passing on.Thank You for sharing him to us.His priesthood was precious. He was a good and gentle and a faithful Priest of Jesus and Our Lady.He has touched and brought back many souls to Jesus' fold.Heaven opens wide to
welcome Him for sure.
Fr.Philip your memory and spiritual exhortation will stay in our hearts.
Thank You for sharing your noble priesthood with us.Please continue to mentor us in heaven much more so than when you were with us here on earth.
We love you and we will miss you.

Fr. Phil was a dear friend who spent time at our house. We especially remember him playing the songs that are sung in Medjugorje on our piano for hours. He was a blessing through meeting him in Medjugorje. We will remember him in our prayers. Our pilgrimages with him to the Holy Land are still vivid. We send condolences to his family.

Fr. Pavich heard my confession and provided spiritual direction for me when I visited Medjugorje in 1990. My faith was forever changed by his kindness, wisdom, and council. May God bless him for his faithful ministry, and may he be welcomed into heaven with the words we all long to hear, "Well done, my good and faithful son!" God bless you Fr. Pavich.

My wife, kids and I had the privilege, what a blessing, to meet Fr. Philip on July 6th, 2019 in Chicago in his rectory.

Enclosed is a photo when I first met Fr. Philip in Medjugorje, summer of 1991 (I still believe in Medjugorje). We love you Father, and we are having masses said for you! Also this week, I will be applying my plenary indulgence for your soul, due to the commemoration of the Our Lady of the Angels.

Fr. Philip was our spiritual director/confessor in Medjugorje for many years. He also came to Florida and celebrated mass in our home on our 25th Wedding Anniversay. We have kept in contact with him since he left Medjugorje and we always emailed each ot
