Philip Jambrone, 86 years, Veteran WWII U.S. Army, beloved husband of the late Barbara, nee Boylan; devoted father of Linda (Andrew) Tenuto, Phyllis (Frank) Patruno, Jack (Lisa), Dominic (Mary) and Joseph (Sharon); dear brother of Frances Mele, the late Rose Petramale, Virginia Manganello and Lena (Pizzalato), Dominic and Joseph; brother-in-law of Margaret Boylan; cherished grandfather of 16; and great-grandfather of six; uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many. Retired engineer with Metropolitan Water Reclamation Center. Resting at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Monday, 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, 11 a.m., to St. Giles Church for Noon Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment St. Joseph. 708-456-8300.
