Robert E. Boyar, age 84, of LaGrange. U.S. Army Veteran and pioneer in the development of nuclear power for Argonne National Laboratory Beloved husband of the late Patricia K.; devoted father of Joan Ph.D. (Kim) Larsen, Jeffrey, Rev. Robert A. (Carol), and Ellen Boyar and Linda (Norman) Graziani; cherished grandfather of Marianne, Kristiana, Justin and Lucas. Visitation Friday, May 28, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 29, 12 Noon at the First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange, 150 S. Ashland Ave., LaGrange. Interment Bronswood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association. Funeral info: (708) 352-6500. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
