Robert Hoshaw Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Eugene Hoshaw announce his passing from Alzheimer's Disease at his home in Glenview, IL at age 87 on June 19, 2021. Bob was born in Osceola, IA on November 2, 1933. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Janet (nee Melody), and three children, Elizabeth (Takis) Sarantos, James (Elizabeth) and Sheila (Dan Warren) Quinn. Bob will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren Nick Sarantos, Kris (Mark) Hernandez, Meghan (Daniel) Ledden, Matt Hoshaw, Ryan and Nolan Quinn, great-grandchild, Will Hernandez and sister, Mary Erickson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Katherine, and his brothers, Donald and Jimmy.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 12:30 p.m with visitation one hour prior. In keeping with Bob's wishes, his remains will be donated to a Medical University.

Those who so desire may make donations in Bob's name to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church – Sister Paulanne's Neediest Family Fund at 1775 Grove Street, Glenview, IL 60025.
