Robert Weinmeier Obituary

Robert Weinmeier, 88, passed Saturday, August 13, 2016 at his home in Chicago. A man of strong faith who lived and loved life. Born March 19, 1928 in Winona, KS to George and Mathilda Weinmeier. Loving father of Robin, Robert Jr, and Susan; dear brothers and sisters John, Joseph, Bertha,Cheryl; late Fabiola and Margaret; cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Taylor & Lauren, Dalton,Jordan, Sarah, Michael & Alison, Lindsey, Austin; great granddaughter Audrey, nieces, nephews and many close friends. Proud 60 year member Chicago Journeyman Plumbers Union #130, Skokie Fireman and Army Veteran of Korean War. Bob loved family, friends and golf. Known as a man of honor, principle and a strong handshake. Mass Friday, September 2, 10am Queen of All Saints Basilica, Chicago. Family wishes to extend gratitude to Dr. Levine, Dr.Showel, Rush Hospital, HOG/Arkansas, LifeCare and Rainbow Hospice. -- It's not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived. Donations can be made to Hope Cancer Resources, 8535 W. Sunset Ave., Springdale, AR 72762.
