I remember Sam from the Kings Palace, He presented a first class evening of entertainment. I took my second wife there on our first date, we married soon after, I remember Sam coming out every night with his cake and his passion of thanking America for giving him the opportunity to succeed in this country. He always passed around the bottles of champagne. and the steak dinners were fantastic. After eating we danced the night away until midnight when it was always New years eve....such memories...Thank you Sam....my you rest in peace for ever.

I have so many great memories from the Kings Palace! Sam was always so gracious and entertaining, giving out all of those bottles of champagne. Many many parties were held at The Palace by the Bank of Lisle, and I was at every one of them! Mary, Fran and I found out that he had opened the club in Sandwich and we made a special point of going there. Sam remembered each one of us.

Dear Randy, George, Gus and Kimberly; I am so sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I loved him and have very fond memories of him. I'm sorry
that I cannot be there to pay my respect to
you for his passing as I live in Colorado Springs. One of my favorite stories of Sam,
was when he was very young. He took your
grandpa George's reel to reel tape recorder and
pretended to be a baseball sportscaster. He
would then announce an entire imaginary 9 inning baseball game. Wow! Cracked me up!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love and miss you,
Billy Treslo & family

I may not have known Sam like others knew Sam. Sam was always a great one to tell you a story, early December he had come in to the hospital and sat down to chat. As I was listening to the story I couldn't help but think to myself, "this man has been through a lot". It's patients like Sam that make a rough day better. From the bottom of my heart I will miss my "Sam stories".

Sam, the man the legend. Always the entertainer, always a keen sense of humor and gracious host with an incredible speaking voice. You have been a happy part of my life and created some good memories for everyone "from border to border from coast to coast" you were a real show man plus you had a wardrobe of suits in every color imaginable to add to your show biz personality. You were a loving proud father and a good friend To all sam. You will always be remembered in the hearts and minds of all that knew you. Whenever i hear the words "God bless America" i think of you and your love of the country. Rest in peace .
