Sara Simon, nee Lurie, age 94, formerly of Chicago and Niles, Illinois; recently of Northridge, California: beloved wife of Jack who preceded her in death; loving mother of Miriam (Warren) Fish and Carol (David) Ginsburg; cherished grandmother of Rebecca (Bart) Goldman, Stephanie (Kent) Monteleone, Daniel (Sharon West) Ginsburg and Brian (Theresa) Ginsburg: adored great-grandmother of Brett Goldman, Eric Goldman, Sean Monteleone, Wyatt Ginsburg and Cole Ginsburg; fond sister of the late Arnold Lurie and the late Bernard ( Ruth) Lurie: fond sister-in-law of the late Hyman (Ethel) Simon; dear aunt, cousin and friend of many. Chapel service Friday 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights, IL. Interment at Shalom Memorial Park. My belated condolences to my cousin Sara Simon's entire family. I did not have the distinct pleasure to interact with Sara, her husband Jack, and their daughters Miriam and Carol, nearly as often as I would have desired. However, on those rare occasions that family gatherings brought us together, I was quite impressed by Sara and her family family. All wonderful cousins who I regret nit knowing much better. My deepest condolences to the entire family on the loss of Sara.

I was so sorry to hear of your dear mother's passing.
We taught together for many years. I was so pleased to be able to celebrate her
90th birthday at the lovely party that you gave. I saw her again when I took her to lunch
just before she left for
California. She looked so
