Margaret Morrill Obituary

MARGARET R. MORRILL (DABBS) Margaret R. Morrill (Dabbs) passed away quietly Dec. 23, 2014 at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville. "Maggie" was born March 28,1929 to Albert and Sadie Dabbs in Oroville, Calif. The youngest of seven children. Margaret attended Oroville High School. After high school she met the love of her life John L. "Jack" Morrill. They were married July 3, 1947 and had over 51 years of marriage together, mostly in the Yuba Sutter area. Margaret worked over 23 years for Caltrans and Jack was a CHP officer. Together they had many many friends. Margaret and Jack had three sons, John, Patrick and Michael. She is survived by sons Patrick of Trinidad and Michael of Yuba City, five grandchildren, Michael Morrill of Wheatland, Wesley Morrill of Ft. Bragg Megan Morrill of Marysville, Matthew Morrill of Trinidad and Zarina Bestul of McMinnville OR. and three great- grandchildren. The family would like to thank Summerfield Senior Living and specifically the wonderful caregivers in the Compass Rose Unit for their tireless efforts. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
