Richard Turner Obituary

RICHARD TURNER Richard Turner, 68, of Paradise, CA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family early Friday morning, January 13 in Chico, CA. Richard was born on May 3, 1948 in Pennsylvania, he moved to southern California and quickly adapted to the "beach boy" lifestyle. After serving as a Marine Corpsman in Vietnam, he moved to Chico where he met and married Virginia on June 25, 1977. After raising two daughters they built their dream home and moved to Paradise. He loved to golf, fish, barbecue and tell tall tales. Survivors include his wife Virginia; his two daughters, Katie Turner of Elk Grove and Heather Linders of Lewisville, TX; Two grandchildren, Natalie and Dylan; brother Frank of Washington; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church in Chico. Please stay after for refreshments and time to celebrate the life of Richard and share memories with family and friends. I remember Richard as a very nice and caring man while working in the ER at Enloe Hospital. Im so sorry for your loss Virginia.
