Doctor/Bishop Crabtree was one of my favorite people growing up. He made an impression on me when I Laurel President in 1973. He was a great leader of the youth as Bishop. I had never seen a man kneel in prayer before him. In our youth meetings we would all kneel for the closing prayer. This touched me and help so much in building my testimony of Jesus Christ. He took us to Salt Lake to go to Conference one year. What a fun and wonderful man he was! I would say rest in peace Bishop Crabtree, but I know he's up and running on the other side!

I was privileged to work with Dr Crabtree for quite awhile at Feather River Hospital in Paradise, CA. He was always concerned that his patients were well cared for, and was kind to us, the nurses, too. He never raised his voice, and even when we knew he wasn't well, he always said he was "fine". We loved him and his gentle ways. I know you miss him a lot, and when Jesus comes, he will be happy and whole, and together with all of you! Heavens warmest blessings to you!

As a nurse then, I remember a caring, kind, compassionate man who cared about how his patients were treated, and was kind to us too. No matter how bad he might've felt, he always replied "Just fine", or "Couldn't be better" when asked how he was doing, even if we knew differently.. The Lord definitely walked beside him as he made his rounds. It was evident! Sleep till Jesus comes, Dr Crabtree!♀

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Bishop Crabtree. He is the example I always give when I am speaking of a great bishop. It was in his office, as a young Mia Maid President, that I first saw a man kneel in prayer. It touched me then and is still a powerful example of what a man and leader can show all of us. He truly was the best bishop that I have ever worked with. What a great loss to us all. His love for Heavenly Father will always be with me!

I worked for him for awhile many years ago and found him to be interested in the well-being of his patients. His concern was for their welfare and for their recovery. I have since spent many years in the Medical field and regard him as unique in many ways.

We first met Dr. Crabtree almost 32 years ago, when he was on call, and saw our then-2-year-old son. Dr. Crabtree soon had him laughing, as well as healing! Dr.Crabtree was a wonderful, kind and loving man, and one of the finest people I have ever known. He was such an exemplary physician as well, and cared so deeply for all his patients. Since he was also our neighbor for many years, I had the pleasure of seeing him walking Clyde, the family dog, on many occasions, and it was clear that he thoroughly enjoyed those walks with Clyde! I will always remember him, and all his family, with a great deal of love, and may God bless him and all his family both now and forever! With Sympathy and Love, Ann, Geoff, Greg & Grant Kerber

Dear Crabtree family,
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Your husband/father and mine spent many hours working together, and sharing large family stories. They both put so much into caring for their patients, and truly making a difference in so many lives. I feel that they are up there, planning their next surgery together, and what new techniques to utilize to make all our lives better.We have truly lost a great physician, friend and mentor.
Sincerely.

Our deepest sympathy for the passing of Dr/Bro. Crabtree. I worked with him on many cases, and always saw the love he had for his fellow man. He was also one of the most humble men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I'll always remember his reply when asked how he was doing - "I'm verticle, it's a good day". Dr Crabtree was one of the very few Doctors who was kind to all! He never raised his voice to the nurses, and treated us with respect too. I observed him often tending his patients and wanted evrything done for them to bring them comfort. We could tell he was in pain later on, but he never let on and whenasked how he was doing, would always respond with "Never been better!" Always had a smile and a sparkle in his eye. He will be missed greatly, but time for him to rest from his labors. May our Loving God encircle all of you with His warm & loving arms, and give you memories sweet of this precious & devoted man!

Dear Family;
Dr. Crabtree will be missed by me. He was an influence and an example in my life for many reasons but mostly because he showed me what a real man should be like. He came into my life during a time when things were going from bad to worse and would take me aside from time to time and assure me life can get better if you work at it. It seemed like he could see into me and knew there was hope. He helped make me the man I am today. He performed my marriage over 37 years ago at my Brides parents house on Pentz Rd. in the front yard and I still remember him smiling and patting me on the back and telling me to look forward to the good things I will do and leave the past behind me but use it as a tool. I bet I looked like a scared kid ( I was ) standing there with him before the ceremony. I have not seen or spoke to him for years or any of his family but keep him with me always.
Kind Regards;
