ROBERT CRAIG SWANSON SUSAN LYNN SWANSON Will be laid to rest in chico ca on Friday, November 20, 11:00AM. At Newton Bracewell Masoliem. Robert Craig Swanson passed away in his home Oct, 22 2013 after long battle with cancer. He was born in Chico Ca January, 5 1946 to Bud and Clare Marie Swanson. Where he help on the family's chicken farm while he attended Chico Schools until graduating from Chico High School in 1965. Susan Lynn (Flower) Swanson of Sparks, NV passed on Sunday, October 25 at her home. After a long battle with cancer. She was born on August, 9, 1947 in Gridley, Ca to Arthur and Mary Flower. She attended Chico schools until graduating from Chico High School in 1965. On January 7, 1967 she married Robert Craig Swanson. They lived in Chico as Susan began her career with Pacific Bell eventually becoming an AT&T employee. She retired in Sparks from AT&T in 1998 after 32 years of faithful service. Her work took her from the days of the operator switchboard to the age of the computer. Craig and Susan are survived by their son Michael Swanson, and daughter -in -law Phyllis of Tracy Ca, Grandson Phoenix Swanson of Sacramento, Craig's brother Jerry Swanson and wife Kaye of Chester Ca, Sister Helen (Swanson) Preston & Husband Gil of Mt Sue's bother,Tullie Flower & wife Katya of Shingle Springs Ca as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
