Tucker Mesker Obituary
MESKER
Tucker Robert Mesker has passed on into a life of eternal fishing. Tucker was born August 19, 1986 in Chico, CA and died at the age of 22 in a tragic traffic accident on December 6, 2008.
Tucker attended Richfield Elementary School and graduated from Corning Union High School in 2004. He attended Mendocino Junior College where he played baseball and was in his junior year at Chico State University.
Tucker spent his life playing competitive sports and excelled in most anything that he did. His love of the outdoors, especially fishing on the houseboat at Shasta Lake will always be remembered. His bright smile and his loving heart will be sorely missed by all.
Tucker is survived by his mother and father, Rob and Heidi Mesker; his brother, Brant and his sister, Shae; his grandparents, Jim and Marcia Morris and Rosemary Mesker. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Ron Mesker. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many very good friends.
A celebration of Tucker's life will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Corning at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial scholarship. Donations can be made at Butte Community Bank, 950 Highway 99W in Corning.

Mesker Family;
I was Tucker's 6th grade teacher at Richfield. I have many fond memories of Tucker. He was special and talented and stood out among his peers. He was kind hearted and handsome even as a 6th grader. I was recently blessed with a baby son and I hope he turns out to be a wonderful young man like Tucker. I last spoke to Tucker at his eight grade graduation. I still remember him giving me a hug even while his cool eigth grade friends were watching. I wept when I heard the news. I'm so sorry for your lose. May God strenghten you during this time.

Having known Tucker since he was small, I knew his personality would always be as large as that beautiful smile of his! I cut his hair for a few years when was about 5 or so, he would sit nice and still, and with in no time at all, fall asleep. Cutest thing ever. Then upon me finishing he would wake up, give me that Tucker smile and say Thank you... A wonderful young man will be missed by many! Brooke Smith

Heidi,
As a mom, my heart aches for you. I only met Tucker a couple of times when he stopped by the shop while you were doing my nails but do know many people who did and have heard nothing but good things about him.
