Zachary Fry Obituary

ZACHARY NOAH FRY Zachary Noah Fry, 15, of Orland, CA, was taken from us on August 27, 2014 from his battle of depression. Zachary was born in Chico, CA. He attended Orland, Wheatland, Kirkwood Schools, he was currently attending Core in Chico. Zachary loved football, fishing with his grandpa Bob and hunting with his dad. He also loved his nephews and niece and picking on his younger siblings; his older sister Skylar was his best friend. He enjoyed summers with his friend Brian and his family. Zachary was a member of the LDS CHURCH Of JESUS CHRIST of Orland. We recently moved to Chico and attended the STAKE Center of LDS. Zachary is survived by his mother Misty Allen, Step dad Chris Allen, his father Garrett Fry, all from Orland. His sisters Skylar and Kelsey Fry and brother Tyler Fry. His maternal grandpar-ents Tammilyn Flagor and Larry Corriea, great grandfathers Gerald Corriea and Jean Poncia. His paternal grandpar-ents Mary Anne & Tony Howard and WIlliam Fry. Zachary also leaves his aunts Gina, Camise and Christina; his uncles Larry, Jack, Nicholas and Clay; as well as many great aunts, uncles, cousins and lots and lots of friends and teachers. A Viewing will be held Friday September 5th from 5 until 8 P.M. in the Chapel of the Brusie Funeral Home in Chico, followed by a Service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 125 Modoc Street in Orland, CA, Saturday, September 6th at 12 Noon. A gathering will be held following at the Church . The family would like to bring awareness to suicide and depression by listing hotline numbers! I did not know this young man, but I applaude the family for recognizing depression is a disease just like cancer, diabetes, etc. You are very brave and more insight and understanding into this disease could save lives. The Iversen Center in Chico and the North Valley Warm Line 1-855-582-5554 are two local resources for individuals suffering from depression. My heart and prayers are with your family.
