Alice Weiss was the greatest lady who ever lived. She gave love unconditionally, opening her home and her heart to any and all who were lucky enough to meet her. I treasure the memories of the the hilarious fun we had sitting around the Weiss table, and I cherish the heartfelt times of growth when life brought difficulties and Ma lead with tremendous strength and fortitude. I take solace in the fact that she was a great and abiding friend and pretty much a second mother to me my entire adult life. I miss you, Alice, and will continue to miss you until we meet again.

My condolences to the fabulous Weiss family, each and every one a testament to the love and to the family-raising skills of Sylvester and Alice/Pa and Ma.

Alice tried acting so serious with a slight smirk on her face, then bursting into a laugh. GREAT sense of humor. Caring for her was such a joy, people like her and her family is what keeps me coming back to the job i love. Thank u so much for allowing us to take care of your beloved mother and grandmother. Always will be loved and missed greatly. Rest peacefully "grandma"❤

My deepest sympathy and love to ALL of the Weiss family. I was given the greatest honor and pleasure getting to know such a beautiful soul, your “ma,” on a personal level with the Weiss girls, but mostly with my dearest and best friend Kathy!! I loved your ma with all my heart. I’ve never known a kinder and more gentle person. My love to you all, and may you have comfort and peace! God bless each of you.

Love,
Vickie Petric

To all the Weiss family, so sorry to hear of her passing. 100 years old.... she always had a smile on her face and a laugh from her heart. I remember visits to the farm well.

My deepest sympathies to all of Alice's family and friends. It's been a long time since she lived in Wisconsin, but my parents, Mildred and Frank, were friends with Alice and Syl. As a kid I remember so many visits to their Oak Creek farm for the adults' card games, parties, and get-togethers. And then us kids could be out playing, "unrestricted" of course. That meant the barns, crawling all over the farm machinery, and inspecting everything in the workshop. Such fun times with the Weiss's. And the hostess with the most-tess, was of course Alice! She always made us feel loved, and of course, well fed. Missed.

This wonderful woman has had a strong influence in my life and my siblings as well. We have been family friends of the Sylvester and Alice Weiss for many, many years. A role model in work ethic, love of family, a woman’s strength and above all love of life! Thank you for your impact and so many wonderful memories!
