Brenda Core Obituary
CHILLICOTHE: Brenda D. Core, 61 of Chillicothe passed from this life at her home early Saturday morning, December 24, 2016 after an extended illness. Brenda was born Jan. 29, 1955 in Jackson, Ohio to Roland William Kistler and Carol Irene Graham Kistler Seitz.
Brenda leaves behind her husband and best friend, Robert "Bruce" Core. Together, they celebrated 32 wonderful and adventurous years. They raised her 3 children, daughters, Tina D. LeMaster, Columbus, Michele (Shane) Ogan, Chillicothe; and a son, Greg D. Funk, Chillicothe. Brenda was also proud to be blessed with her grandchildren, Albert and David Cottrell, Tyler, Brittany and Harmony Funk and Seth Ogan. Also mourning her passing are her brothers, Eddie (Debbie) Kistler, Orient, Ohio and Mike (Becky) Kistler, Jackson, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Mindy Funk, Chillicothe and many brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Lucas R. Ogan.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 29, 2016 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
