John Kochensparger Obituary
CIRCLEVILLE: John "Jack" Kochensparger, 84, of Circleville, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Brown Memorial Home.
He was born October 27, 1930 in Circleville, OH to John Lewis and Fairy Jane (Stevens) Kochensparger. Jack married the love of his life Edris in 1951. Jack retired from GE in 1994 after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, hunting mushrooms and small game. Jack also served in the Army and loved history, especially, Ohio history.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James, Paul and infant Emmitt; sister, Hazel Mae Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife; children, Janet (Bryan) Cupp of Washington Court House, Kathy (Alan) Grant of Chillicothe, Rick (Sandra) Kochensparger of Circleville and Inge (Michael) Pearch of Circleville; five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 East Main Street, Circleville, Ohio 43113 with Pastor Charles Alley officiating. Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery with military service provided by AMVETS Post 2256 Honor Guard. Friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
