Marion Anders Obituary

FRANKFORT: Marion M. Anders, 82, of Frankfort, died Thursday afternoon, October 1, 2009 at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
He was born at New Martinsburg, Ohio on March 23, 1927, the son of the late John and Hattie Swift Anders. On January 30, 1954 he married the former Goldie I. Johnson and she preceded him in death on December 21, 2007.
Surviving is his daughter, Brenda (Frank) Fullen of Frankfort; his sister, Margarete M. Michel of Leesburg; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Lacey Kaye who he really enjoyed.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel McCoy; and three brothers, Herbert, Donald and Harold Anders.
Marion served his country in the US Army during World War II. He retired as a truck driver and machine operator with Sugar Creek Stone Quarry. Marion was a member of the New Martinsburg United Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort with Pastor Joel Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort with military honors accorded by the Frankfort American Legion. Calling hours will be on Monday from 11 a.m. until service time.
