Ricky Whitcomb Obituary
Waverly - Ricky Alfred Whitcomb, 64, of Waverly, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at Highland District Hospital unexpectedly.
He was born December 10, 1953 in Pickaway County to the late Vernon A. and Shirley A. Barker Whitcomb. On July 29, 1972 he married the former Ellen M. Hutchison who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Susan L. (Dwayne Seeling) Whitcomb, of Chillicothe and a son, Randy A. Whitcomb, of Chillicothe; granddaughters, Alicia (Zach) Riley and Kyra (Morgan) Masters; great-grandsons, Kenton and Waylon Riley and Hank Masters; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; a sister and brother-in-law, Jeanie and Dick Holt, of Chillicothe.
Ricky retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation where he worked as a mechanic. He was a member of Denver Ridge Hunt Club, where he enjoyed all hunting and fishing but especially he loved spending time with his kids, granddaughters and great-grandsons.
Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rich Cottrill officiating. Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5-8 p.m. (today) Monday.

Susan, so sorry for your loss. I can remember Lanny, Buddy and Rick sitting at our table when they were young teens playing Monopoly. They would always get into a spat over the game. Mom and me would just laugh. Rick was a good guy. Praying for the family.

Sorry for your loss. Will keep alot of good memories of Rick. Had alot of fun growing up around him. Being said the little ornery boy down the road always crashing his bicycle in front of his house ,lol
