Roger Dale Sasser

1950 - 2017

Mr. Roger Dale Sasser of Esto, FL passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at his home. He was 66. Mr. Sasser was born October 24, 1950 in Geneva County to the late J. P. and Reather Martin Sasser. He was a loving husband, devoted father and adoring grandfather; yet, Roger's love went deeper than just his family and friends. He opened his heart and his home as a foster parent and in this, he truly lived up to Christ's command, "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God."

In addition to his parents, two brothers: Dallas Sasser and Johnny Sasser preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Sue Crutchfield Sasser; three daughters: Maranda Sasser and her fiancé Britt Hinson, Trinity Sasser and Maniah Sasser; two sons: Garrett Sasser and Nicolas Sasser; four grandchildren: Mariaha and Jaylyn Marcill, Brendon and Keiston Hinson and one on the way; one sister: Audrey Sasser Pitts (Alaxon); two brothers: Charles Sasser(Maxine) and Curtis Sasser (Carol); several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Carmel Assembly of God Church in Bonifay with Rev. Jerry Moore and Rev. Jonathan West officiating. The family received friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time. In lieu of flowers the family ask that you honor Roger's memory by making contributions to Missions at Carmel Assembly of God Church, 1485 Carmel Church Road, Bonifay, FL 32425.
