Alvin G. Sikora, age 59, of Bloomer, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
He was born Aug. 22, 1947, in Eau Claire to Elmer and Elizabeth (Eder) Sikora. He married Carol Ann Scheidecker on April 20, 1974, in Bloomer. He worked as a truck driver for Chippewa County and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Bloomer.
Al enjoyed fishing, camping in all kinds of weather, hunting, biking, taking rides in the country and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Carol of Bloomer; one daughter, Amy Sikora of Minneapolis, Minn.; his mother, Elizabeth of Colfax; and two sisters, Anita Grace of Bruce and Ann Sikora of Colfax. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at the First Congregational Church in Bloomer with the Rev. Phil Schneider officiating. Interment was in the Bloomer Cemetery.
The Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer was in charge of arrangements.
