Avis Tuttle Obituary

ST. PAUL, Minn. / KNAPP, Wis. - Avis E. (Harrison) Tuttle, 88, of St. Paul and Knapp, passed away Dec. 3, 2015, from complications of a stroke suffered Nov. 25, 2015.

She was born Sept. 14, 1927.

Preceded in death by father, Hoie Harrison Sr.; mother, Helen Harrison (Nichols); sisters, Crystal Puhl, Arlene Mittlestadt and Audrie Hilgert; brothers, Hoie Harrison Jr. (Sonny) and Dale Harrison.

Survived by sons, Randolph H. Tuttle and Ralph H. Tuttle; granddaughters, Monica Danielson (Tuttle), Anne E. Tuttle, ThuAnh Batker (Tuttle).

Avis had numerous family and friends that were of special importance to her both in St. Paul, and in the Knapp area.

Avis enjoyed her three cats, Inky, Princess and Buddy, more than you can imagine! Each of them would snuggle with her everyday, and this pleased her a great deal. Gardening was a special joy and her flowers were a daily delight. The free section on Craigslist.org was visited daily, and proved to be a fountain of opportunity!

We will miss her a whole bunch.

An informal get-together will be held from 1 until 6 p.m. Dec. 20, 2015, at the Village Hall of Knapp, Wis. Potluck if you are inclined and have time. Bring pictures of Avis if you have them.
