Beverly Jean Miller, 92, passed away April 10, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Beverly was born on April 5, 1933, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Walter Donath and Bernice (Robinson) Donath. She grew up in Waterloo, Iowa and graduated from West High School. She graduated from Gates Business School in Waterloo, Iowa. Beverly was active in vocal music at West High School and the Trinity Lutheran Church Choir. Beverly met her first husband, Charles Ellingson, in the church choir and began to date when he offered her a ride home after practice. Beverly married Charles Ellingson on June 25, 1955. Charles passed away Aug 2, 1963. Beverly met her second husband, Wendell Miller, on a blind date with mutual friends. She married Wendell Miller on July 1, 1966. Wendell passed away September 15, 2004.

Beverly and Wendell loved camping and were active in a Coachman camping club. Beverly was very social and loved to play cards and bingo, with occasional trips to casinos. She enjoyed listening to her audio books, watching TV and movies. Beverly adored her family and loved spending time with them. It was extra special to celebrate her 92nd birthday recently.

Beverly will be deeply missed and is survived by her daughter, Lori (Tim) Gamerdinger of Chippewa Falls, WI; son, Kendall Miller (Kary Johnson) of Fort Worth, Texas; granddaughter, Amy Gamerdinger Jeffers (Adam) of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; granddaughter, Amber Lacina (Dustin) of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; grandson, Joshua Miller; granddaughter, Clara Contreras; grandson, Jack Johnson; great-grandsons, Simon and Quinn Jeffers.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Ellingson, and Wendell Miller; her daughter, Christine Miller on May 16, 2024; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Rexroat Miller on September 14, 2021; and her siblings, Virginia, Charles, Shirley, Patricia, and Richard.

The family thanks friends and family for their love and support over the years.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, April 25 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1300 Mansfield St., Chippewa Falls with Rev. Curt Rohland officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 28 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 3669 Logan Ave., Waterloo, IA.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that Memorials go to Suicide Prevention, Pancreatic Cancer Research, The American Red Cross, Our Saviour's Lutheran Church Chippewa Falls, or St. John's Lutheran Church Bennington, Waterloo, Iowa.
