Carol Ann Trainor, age 58, passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at her home in Menomonie, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born in Bremerton, Wash., on March 11, 1953, to Melford and Faye (Turner) Loop. They moved to Wisconsin, where Carol finished school in Elmwood. She worked in food service for 44 years at various places.
She enjoyed fishing and playing pool and also the motorcycle trips that she and Rick would take. She always said she wouldn't travel any other way, as you could see everything this side of heaven.
Carol is survived by her husband, Richard W. Trainor; seven children, Aaron (Jen) Lammo, Eric (Missy) Lammo, Nicole (Chad) Ponto, Jennifer King, Dustin (Billie Jo) Wedam, Mikayla Wedam and BreAnna Nelson; two step-daughters, Paula (Todd) Schillinger and Ashley (Curt) Trainor; 12 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; father, Wayne A. Ottman; two sisters, Mandy (Russ) Phillips and Sandra Ottman; two brothers, Larry (Brenda) Loop and Bradley Ottman; sisters-in-law, Carla (Larry) Prochnow and Kimberly (David) Vlcek; and brother-in-law, Joel (Doreen) Trainor.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Ottman; a sister, Peggy Loop; husband, Kelly D. Wedam; mother-in-law, Lorraine Trainor; and a granddaughter, Aaryonna J.L. Lammo.
A memorial service will be held at noon, Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with Pastor David Whelan officiating. Burial will take place in Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
