Charles Edwin Polhamus
CADOTT - Charles Edwin Polhamus (85), of Cadott passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 on his 85th birthday.
Charles was born, October 24, 1938, son of Harry and Violet (Haskins) Polhamus.
Charles married Mariana Motycka on May 12, 1962 in Cadott, WI following marriage they resided in St. Paul, MN and Cadott, WI.
Charles (Charlie) loved time with his family and anything outdoors. He enjoyed farming, spending time taking care of the cows and driving tractor any opportunity he had. He liked being in the woods and driving his 4-wheeler. He also had a great love for the Lord, and enjoyed multiple weekly Bible Studies with friends.
Charles is survived by his children, Patrina (Mike) Gunderson, Penny (Thomas) Nemitz, Charles A. (Lisa Ruff) Polhamus; grandchildren: Michelle (Josh) Gardow, Andrea Gunderson (Shayne McLaughlin), Elizabeth Nemitz (Anthony Borowski), Tim (Teresa Turany) Nemitz, Steven Nemitz, Paige Polhamus, and Grace Polhamus; brother, Jimmy (Lorri) Polhamus; sister, Judy Cahoon, and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mariana; sister, Evelyn Thorsen; and brother-in-laws, Joseph Motycka, Ed Cahoon and Glenn Thorsen.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 2 at the Chippewa Valley Bible Church 531 E South Ave, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729 with Pastor Jim Woldhuis officiating.
A Memorial visitation will be held Thursday 1 hour prior to service at the church.
Military Honors by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council following the Service at the Church.
