Jacob Whitehorn Obituary

JIM FALLS - Jacob Alexander Whitehorn, 26, of Jim Falls died unexpectedly Thursday, May 24, 2018, at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Jacob was born March 27, 1992, in Eau Claire, the son of Bridget McNamara and David (Julie) Whitehorn. He graduated from Mt. Hebron High School in Ellicott City, Md., in 2010 with honors. While in high school he served in JROTC.

Jacob was an avid paintballer and was always recruiting new targets. He loved to fish and be outdoors. But most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family. Jacob was a big-hearted, friendly, outgoing person. He would start conversations with anyone. He always had a big smile and loved to make people laugh! He always looked out for his family. He will forever live in our hearts.

Jacob is survived by his parents; one brother, Zachary of Vacaville, Calif.; his grandmother, Melody Glenn of Eau Claire; and many aunts, uncles, cousins; and special friend, Gregg Patz, who has been his longtime partner-in-crime.

Jacob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Patricia McNamara; aunt, Patsy; and uncles, Glen Jr. and Mickey McNamara.

A celebration of life will be held at noon Thursday, May 31, at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Robert Hoekstra will be officiating.
