James H. Globensky, 87, of Chippewa Falls died Friday, July 21, 2017, at his residence in Chippewa Falls.
James was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Chippewa Falls, the son of John H. and Alice (Peloquin) Globensky.
On Oct. 1, 1955, James married Elizabeth (Rehberg) at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. He worked for the Soo Line Railroad for 39 years.
James served in the National Guard for nine years.
James was a member of Holy Ghost Church, the Knights of Columbus Goldsmith Council #974, and the United Transportation Union #0911.
James is survived by two daughters, Jean Marie (Gene) O'Leary of Denmark, Wis. and Rebecca Jane (Randy) Dienger of Chippewa Falls; one sister, Alice Mae Marshall of Chippewa Falls; and four grandchildren, Matthew (Veronica) McFarlane, Daniel (Maren) McFarlane, Anthony Dienger and John Dienger.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" July 17, 1997; one son-in-law, Melvin McFarlane; his parents; three brothers, Gilmore, John and Hubert Globensky; and three sisters, Phyllis Reiter, Bernice Globensky and Eunice Yeager.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Justin Kizewski will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Entombment will be in Hope Mausoleum in Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls.
