Judith "Judy" M. Ruzicka, 63, of Chippewa Falls died unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, while traveling home from vacation.

She was born Feb. 1, 1953, in Rice Lake, Wis., to Leonard and Catherine Parks, the fourth of 10 siblings. She graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1972.

Judy married the love of her life, Thomas Ruzicka, Dec. 15, 1973, in Minneapolis, where they resided for a few years before moving back to the Chippewa Falls area in 1978.

Judy's passion was her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She lived her life taking care of those around her, and she had a heartwarming, generous way of making everyone around her feel special and loved.

Judy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thomas; her two children, Steven Ruzicka and Jennifer (Richard) Jones; grandchildren, Kahlan, Kayanna, Aliegha, Joseph, Shaylee, Aimee and James Ruzicka, Bethany Rhodes, and Zachary, Sophia and Thomas Jones; brothers, David Parks, Steve (Wendy) Parks, Philip Parks, and Brian (Connie) Parks; sisters, Kathy (Jim) Bowe, Anne (Jerry) Vogler, and Colleen January; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Catherine; and two sisters, Patricia Parks and Mary Larson.

A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 29, at Chippewa Valley Bible Church, 531 E. South Ave., Chippewa Falls, with Pastor Jim Woldhuis officiating.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at Chippewa Valley Bible Church.

Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at Northwestern Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wis.
