Annette (Knox) Owens
EDENTON - Ernestine Annette Knox Owens, 91, of Paradise Road, Edenton, NC, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025.
Mrs. Owens was born in Suffolk, VA on February 24, 1934, and was the daughter of the late James Linwood and Lydia Johnson Knox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee "Bill" Owens; her sisters, Mildred L. Lynch, Lydia Mae Worls, and Martha Lorraine Baker.
A homemaker, she was a longtime member of Cape Colony Church of Christ.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, surviving is her daughter, Erica A. Moore of Washington, NC; her son, Tom L. Forehand of California, MD; three grandchildren, Brian, Ashlee, and Dylan; and two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Sophie.
In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held but family and friends may celebrate her life and memory in any manner they choose.
Annette lived and survived life through hard times, with hard people. She still found a way to instill hope and happiness in those who knew her best.
