Caroline Brunson Obituary

Mrs. Caroline Brunson, age 64, passed away peacefully May 30, 2025, at her Palm City, FL home with her husband Ashbel (Ash) and beloved dog Sammy by her side. Born on March 10, 1961, in Montclair, NJ to John T. and Deirdre Bright, Caroline grew up in Knoxville, TN and graduated from Bearden High School. Upon marriage to Ash Brunson in December of 1992, they made Hopkinsville, KY home. During her career, she worked in Nashville and Atlanta as a property manager, served as the local manager of Habitat for Humanity in Hopkinsville and office manager for Hopkinsville's public defender office. She advocated for countless people and was dedicated to helping them get their lives back in order. The centerpiece of her career was partnering with Ash to build, grow, and manage All Clean, Inc. Her hard work and business acumen were instrumental to All Clean's success. Caroline enjoyed traveling (especially the beach), cooking (her chocolate chip cookies were legendary), gardening, but most importantly family and friends. Caroline is survived by her husband Ash Brunson; stepsons Bart (Sara) Brunson, Greg Brunson, and Kirk Brunson; grandchildren Ash, Bella, Layton (and Layton's sister Lex); brother John F. (Deborah) Bright; nephew Jack; nieces Kate and Addy Burke; aunts Elizabeth DelTufo (partner Donald Wallace, cousin Margaret 'Ann' Slusarczyk) and Dr. Kathleen Burke. Caroline is preceded in death by her mother and father, Deirdre and John T. Bright. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. Sweet Caroline made life better for everyone who knew her and her pretty little smile. Services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at First Christian Church, 2601 S Walnut Street Hopkinsville, KY 42240 with visitation at 11am, service at noon with lunch to follow.
