John Gavin Obituary
John Henry Gavin IV, age 29, passed away unexpectedly October 22, 2024. John was born December 21, 1994, in Ephrata, PA to John and Susan (Fitter) Gavin. John loved the outdoors, biking, kayaking and camping under the stars. He was a customer integration specialist with Gordon Food Service. John is survived by his father, John Gavin; siblings, Sharon (Chris) McKay, Amber Bennett, and Thomas Gavin; niece and nephew, Riley and Liam; girlfriend, Lauren Rowell; and former wife, Megan Gavin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Gavin; and grandparents, John and Geraldine Gavin, and William and Dorothy Fitter. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 4 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. Friends may visit with John's family from 2-4 PM at the funeral home.
