Michael Allen Drake, 36, was born November 4, 1987. Michael was born to Diane Drake and Paul Jackson. He entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Marion General Hospital.
Michael was a loving son, grandson, nephew, brother, father, and friend. He graduated from Marion High School in 2006, where he displayed his passion for football. Michael had a huge heart, a contagious smile and a humorous personality. His presence was pure.
Michael leaves to cherish his mother Diane Drake(Bernadette Steward) of Fort Wayne, IN, His father Paul Jackson of Fort Wayne, IN, two daughters Veronnika Drake of Hartford City, IN and Zayriona Williams of Marion, IN. Three sisters Brittany Drake (Teron) Laddieann Drake-Jones (Trayvon) and Jasmine Drake-Gosha all of Marion, IN. God sister Tavayah Charles of Merrillville, IN. Three half sisters Kylia Patton, Mercedes Patton, and Robyn Hoffheins(Austin). Grandmothers Gladys Bennett, Ollie Horton, and Helen Steward. Grandfather Paul Hornaday. Special friends Jasmine, Brelexis and Zyonna Smith. Michael will truly be missed by an abundance amount of family, friends, and loved ones.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandpa Emmitt Bennett, his uncle James Allen (Jim) Drake, nephew Jakauri Drake, his brother Dupree Steward and his brother in law Todd Gosha. Celebration of life services held at Grace Missionary Baptist Church 2409 S. Nebraska St. Marion IN 46953 family and friends viewing 11 am – 1pm service to follow on Thursday April 11, 2024

During these times I could always pick my phone up and call you and say I need to talk since Friday I've been struggling really bad I wish that you were here to answer the phone however I can't be selfish and say that I miss you tremendously and as the tears continue to flow until we meet again I'll see you in the morning
