Charles Arthur Hallmann, 73, of Beverly Hills, Florida, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022. Born in Chicago, Illinois, his family relocated later to Florida.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Hallmann Sr. and mother Beverly Maienza (James Sr), brother, Richard Hallmann, and niece, Jennifer Homan.
He is survived by his daughter Tracy Woodward, (Brian) and Bob their dog, his partner of 10 years, Leslie Vanlandingham, former wife and lifelong friend Denise Hallmann, brother Carl Hallmann Jr (Kathy) and sisters Donna Hallmann and Debi Hagelin (Bud), as well as numerous nieces and a nephew.
Chuck, or Charlie to some, was the owner of Hallmann Tax Group, LLC. He had a passion for deciphering the intricate issues involved in filing taxes. He enjoyed meeting new people and discussing politics. He was an avid connoisseur of both technology and photography. In his younger days he built computers, even manufacturing one for his own daughter. Later in life he had a torrid affair with Alexa, the Amazon AI that can be found all over his office and home.
Later he became enamored with photography, where he snapped a variety of fantastic moments. He and Leslie could often be found at various parks and car shows where he captured many extraordinary images. With carefully calculated shutter speed and the proper lens selection he took many beautiful pictures of nature, many of which still hang on the office walls.
