Charles Cooper Parsons, 85 years, passed away under the care of Advent Health in Ocala, FL, September 18, 2022. He was born May 1, 1937 in Tampa, FL to the late Amander Parsons and Alla Pearl King. Charles has been a resident of Hernando for the past 35 years.
Charles grew up in Auburndale Fl. Attended Auburndale High school where he played on the championship football team. Graduated in 1955. He with his wife Jane F. Parsons, who predeceased him, resided in Hernando Fl. from 1982 until his passing.
Charles was a member of First Baptist Church of Hernando.
He was predeceased by his parents Amander, and Alla Pearl Parsons, also his older brother Amander "Buddy" Parsons Jr.
Left to cherish his memory are 5 sons; Charles C. "Bo" Parsons and his wife Lisa, John S. Parsons, his wife Deborah (deceased) James C. "Chad" Parsons and his wife Camille,
Mark E. Shepard and his wife Allison, and Paul G. Parsons and his wife Lynn, 1 daughter Teresa Anne Clarke and her husband Kenneth. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Saturday October 29 2:00 P.M. EST with Pastor Keith Dendy, officiating, in First Baptist Church of Hernando 3790 E. Parsons Pt. Hernando, FL 34442.
Cremation with Care arrangements under the direction of Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness.
