Clara E. Nash, 84, of Lecanto, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023 at her residence. A native of Daleville, AL, she was born April 25, 1939, to Ollie Francis and Ara Bea (Grantham) Fuller, one of seven children.
Clara, also known to many as "Teeney," came to Citrus County three months ago from Pasco County, where she had lived for 53 years. Clara was a devoted and loving lifelong homemaker and mother her entire life. A Baptist by faith, she loved her family unconditionally and would do anything for them. Her perfect day would involve all of her kids coming over with their families and having a cookout. She had a simple life with a big heart!!! As an avid baseball fan, she was a longtime follower of her beloved Tampa Bay Rays, and Clara also loved her daily crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her husband Harold Nash; grandson Shane Pavone; and brothers Harvey and Man Fuller and sisters Carol Arbuckle and Nina Mobbs. She is survived by her five children: August Dowling (husband Dale), Homosassa, FL: Crystal Cobb (husband Gary), Jasper, GA; Tim Lowry (wife Michelle), Deland, FL; Tina Brown (husband Ken), Lecanto, FL and Jerayne Lowry – Shady Hills, FL; sister Linda Fuller, Spring Hill, FL and brother Don Fuller, Alabama; grandchildren Brandy Strickland (husband Jason), Citrus Springs, FL; Charles (Buddy) Blanchard, Jr. (wife Debi), Seminole, FL; Danny Dowling – Lecanto, FL; Shannon Bridges (husband Buck), Savannah, GA; Dustin Wunder (wife Deb), Hernando, FL; Tiffany Hiebert (husband Sean), San Tan Valley, AZ; Nicole Robles (husband Christian), Deltona, FL; Tim Raines – Lecanto, FL; Chris Pavone (wife Shelsea), Springhill, FL; Amber Rakauskas (husband Tommy), Brooksville, FL; Larayne Lowry (Chris Cade), Hudson, FL; and Brigette Dean (husband David), Shady Hills, FL; great-grandchildren Lacey and Emily Strickland, Bailey and Bentley Blanchard, Hautman Bridges, Kristina and Madden Wunder, Anna Hiebert, Madelynn and Emma Jones, Austin, Denver, Trenton and Summer Raines, Trent Vazquez, Delaney and Sailor Pavone, Noah Rakauskas, Anthony Salerno, Elizabeth, Chase and Dudley Cade and Baleigh Dean; many nieces and nephews and a very special sister, Linda Raines.
