Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, June 15, 2018 at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Hwy., Beverly Hills, FL 34465
Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Fero Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home 5891 N. Lecanto Hwy., Beverly Hills FL with Stewart R. Jamison, Pastor of Beverly Hills Community Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Betty was born in Lakewood, NJ to Frederick and Elizabeth Penn on March 13, 1933. She went to school at Toms River High School. She married John Richard Elley on November 28, 1953 in Seaside Park, NJ. She was a homemaker and loving wife. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crafts and was a camping enthusiast. She worked at The Ragshop in Toms River, NJ for 25 years. She also enjoyed square dancing and traveling to train meets with her husband.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Elizabeth Penn.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, J. Richard Elley of Homosassa, FL, children; Elizabeth (Betsy) Fioretti of Apopka, FL, John R. Elley of Raymond, NH, Debra Allan of Centreville, VA and Linda Bellefleur of Clearwater, FL, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Norman Penn of Tavernier, FL, Melinda Allen of Wellsville, OH, Mary Anne Buccigrossi of Fredricksburg, VA and Leah Petruzziello of Manning, SC.
