28 February 2025, May his wife Bette, children and grandchildren be consoled in this sad time with happy memories! John Fogarty was genuinely devoted to family, and was a role model to all who knew him! Many of us have wonderful memories of John, he was a sincere person who took an interest in developing everyone to their best and highest good! John was my sales manager, we worked together at Hewlett Packard Medical Product´s Group. He retired as Imaging Sales Manager from Hewlett Packard! John began his career with Sanborn, later to be bought out by Hewlett Packard. I know he will be remembered for his values of the HP Way, in addition to his dedication to family, coworkers and friends. The photo I am posting shows an HP Employee anniversary celebration in the HP Fort Lauderdale sales office in 1995; John is in the 3rd row, 2 person from the left!
I have many wonderful memories of John, and was fortunate to connect with him about 15 years ago by "finding" him on the internet, staying in touch on email, letters and greeting cards throughout this entire time. One of my favorite memories is when I worked for John, he came to the Tampa, Florida area so we could visit Hewlett Packard Medical Products customers. I made certain to treat him to Bern´s Steakhouse for dinner, and I insisted on picking up the check .... Knowing of course that he would be the person to sign my expense report! He loved it! I think this is the most enjoyable visit he had while on HP business here in Tampa! "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God!" Matthew 5:8

Bette, John III and Colleen, we are sorry to hear of John's passing. I remember the good times John and I shared. From working on the latest HP equipment to having lunch just because we wanted to and talking about boats. Remember storing your boat in our basement in Sayville.
