The folks at Georgia-Pacific in Gulf Hammock sure thought a lot of Mr. Shelton. Sorry to hear that he has passed away.

My deepest condolences to the family over the loss of Mr. Shelton. "Lloyd Shelton" was a family name growing up in our house when I was a kid. He and my father "Bob Horton" worked in the same era at CCSO back in the day along with some others. They had each others back and I appreciate all of them. I am sure Mr. Shelton is sitting in Heaven right now talking to Dad and the others that have left us reminiscing about the old times at CCSO. God Bless the family through this difficult time.

Mr Lloyd "Pappy" Shelton was an inspiration to anyone who had the blessing to know him. God blessed us with the example of a Godly man who walked the walk and talked the talk. A awesome man, friend, and law enforcement officer. May God bless and comfort his family and friends.

My deepest condolences to the family on your loss. What a good long life Lloyd enjoyed! The loss of a loved one is truly difficult no matter how long we have them with us. Remember you are never alone. God promises to be with you to "give you thoughts of peace and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)
