Lorraine Lang Obituary

Lorraine T. Lang, of Hernando, passed away peacefully Sunday August 24, 2025 with her children by her side. She was 88. Lorraine was born in the Bronx, New York to Joseph and Elizabeth Behan Retzler, one of four daughters.

She met John C. Lang, and they married in 1962. Lorraine and John moved from Nashua, New Hampshire to Citrus County in 1987. She was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Inverness North Congregation.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her young son John in 1972, her loving husband John in 2007, and another son Joseph in 2016. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Kardian and Barbara McCoy. Those left to cherish her memories are her son Jim Lang (Laura) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and her daughter Nancy Hunt (David) of Hernando; her sister Maureen Bermudez (Frank) of Long Beach, New York; two grandchildren, Danielle Lenhardt (Dennis) of Murrels Inlet, SC, and Taylor Williams (Cody) of Coatsville, IN as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Braelyn, Calum and Lane.

A Memorial will be held 7:00 PM Monday, October 27, 2025 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1931 E. Norvell Bryant HWY, Hernando, FL. 34442.

Arrangements are in the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness.
