The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Michael Roland St. Pierre, 84, of Hernando, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m., Friday at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Michael was born July 3, 1940, in Fall River, Massachusetts, and passed away on May 28, 2025, in Crystal River, Florida. He proudly served in the United States Navy in Branch of Seabee between 1959-61 in Antarctica. He enjoyed water sports as a child and fishing and air boating in his later years. Michael was a longstanding member of 51 years Elks post 1224, 2522 and the VFW 4252 also The Moose and AmVets. He enjoyed golfing and air boating with his wife!
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Gloria St. Pierre; daughters, Lori Sandbach and Michelle Tullos and son, Michael (Melaney) St. Pierre, Jr.; step-children, Larry (Cyndi) Atwood, Lori Lynn Atwood, and Teri Etta Swanson; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a few nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Mike Sr.'s passing. Although we only met him a few times we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him. He was clearly a man of quality who passed those traits to his children. He will be mourned and missed.
