Ronald Rhodes Obituary

Ronald Allen Rhodes, Jr., 58, of Crystal River, FL passed away June 12, 2021. He was born on June 8, 1963 in Barberton, OH to his beloved mother Cherry Hartley.
Allen leaves behind his only son Joshua Allen Hartley, age 35, and a wonderful daughter-in-law, age 33. They gave Allen 3 beautiful grandchildren, Dakota Hartley, age 16, Tyson Hartley, age 14, and Chassidy Hartley, age 12. Allen also has 4 siblings, two of whom are waiting for him in Heaven, Larry Rhodes and Holly Nye. He leaves behind brothers Shane Rhodes and Donald Haupt, Jr.
We all are going to miss him dearly. He knew how to make us all happy and smile - even mad and upset - but it didn't matter in the end, we all can say we truly love him with all of our hearts. Allen would do anything for anyone, even if it meant giving the shirt off his back if anyone needed it.
He loved everyone, especially his grandbabies. He was always a hard working man who had a passion for roofing at a young age and continued the profession for many years. He could fix any problem that got in his path.
Family will receive friends for visitation from 1PM to 3PM, with a service beginning at 3PM, Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in Lecanto, FL.

Our sincere condolences for your lose. We enjoyed our short time with Ronald Allen. He was a great guy and will be sorely missed by all. Best wishes to the Family and you adjust to the vacancy left by Ron Jr. We are so grateful for the sweet knowledge that Families are and can be together forever, and for the restoration of the Gospel in these latter-days. This is what provides us with ‘hope’ for when we too depart this life.

The last time I saw Allen was when I took this picture just over a year ago I was moving to kentucky and wanted to see everyone before I left. He was so happy He was enjoying the day with his Mom . Him and Don were working on the yard and all was right with his world. I was there when Allen was born. He was a happy baby
He was our mom and dad’s first grandchild he was my first nephew . I babysit him I watched you all grow up and go down your own paths to adulthood and I have to say I am truly sorry for your loss . I thought you would like to see a happy picture of Allen and your mom just enjoying each other’s company and remember all the happy times. Allen will always live in our hearts he was a kind caring person. He is at peace
Allen I will always remember you Love
