Tom, Dave, Mary and Family

So sorry to hear about your loss of Russ.
Even though we know he had a good and long life it is still hard to give him up.
Just remember where is now. All hand tools, and the most famous Carpenter of all.

Marti and I will be saying an extra prayer for all of you as you go through the difficult time of adjusting to the loss. No you never get over his death, but with each week more and more pleasant memory of good times of the past overtake the hurt of today.

I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful man who will be missed by all who knew him. I will never forget that he made me smile on my first anniversary 4 months after my Robby was killed when I didn't think anyone would make me smile again. I will always remember him with love. My love and prayers to his family

"You will be greatly missed. You were so full of energy and life even at the age of 91! You opened your homes to my family and treated us like family and for that I am truly blessed and greatful....."

My condolences to the families. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Welte on a couple of different occasions at the cabin in Georgia as well as the lake house in Florida. I would like to thank him for his service within the US Army as well as the hospitality he extended to me during my visits. He was a great man that will certainly be missed.

My grandfather was an incredible man. He continues to teach me so much about life and what is truly important even through his death. I was blessed to spend his last day with him and will thank him and God always for giving me that gift. Grandpa Russ always made me feel so loved and beautiful. He was a big flirt and I always looked forward to his jokes. We will never loose Grandpa, because he is in each and every one of us that knew him. I love you forever Grandpa, and we will be there for Grandma and your children now that you are gone. Please look over me always, and don't forget what we talked about on Saturday! I love you <3 Shannon
