Verne Goodbread Obituary

Verne Nevarre Goodbread passed away on April 21, 2011, at Lake City, FL, VA Hospital under excellent care. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1962. He enjoyed a career in electronic engineering. He survived 14 years from a lung reduction surgery in St. Louis, Mo. He was born in St. Pete, FL, on July 15, 1941, to Reginal and Nevada Goodbread. He moved to Homosassa in 1993.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Janice Lewis Goodbread; and stepchildren, Debra Baugh and Stanley Lewis; and daughter Gracekyn Lewis. He has two children by a previous marriage, Ilya and Michell Goodbread; and six grandchildren. His parents and one sister, Pamela, had passed on before him. He has one living sister, Janeva and husband Vonya Mullinax, who reside in Concord, N.C.
Services will be May 10th at 2 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Bushnell.
